You have come to MJ MUSIC PRODUCTION!

A small studio with the GREAT sound, where you / and I

work together to achieve the best possible results!

I do:

  • Music productions digital and analog

  • Backing music

  • Layouts for CD covers

  • Ready CD printing

  • Mastering

  • Use Spectralayers for editing old soundtracks

Totally according to your wishes.

Please look under the respective tabs and I will tell you more about what I do and what I have done over the years.

About the Studio!

The studio is based on the latest digital technology.

My DAW is Cubase 14, an advanced music program with effects and endless tracks both via midi and analog!

SpectraLayers 11, a fantastic tool for remixing finished or old audio tracks. For example. if you want to change the vocals or any other track, SpectraLayers does it brilliantly. You can separate any song from any audio track into separate tracks and change what you want and then put back the original track with the new changed one.

Read more about Cubase 14 and SpectraLayers 11 on Steinberg's website!

The sound card I use is called Presonus AudioBox 1818VSL 24BIT / 96K-USB2.0 with 8 XLR inputs or tele jack.

Can also receive pure analog / digital signals via the sound card.

PREPARE FOR MASTERING

• We fix your files regardless of format, level etc.

Headroom/Limitation

• When making your final mix, make sure the level does not exceed -6dB.
• Do not use any "Brickwall" limiter on your final mix. If you still want to use compressor el. limiter to add character to the mix, then remember not to compress or limit too hard.

Editing/Fade

• Feel free to leave a few seconds before and a number of seconds after all instruments stop sounding.
• Don't fade out at the end of the song, we'll fix it. Feel free to talk about your wishes regarding in/out fades.

Format/resolution

• Your audio files must be in WAV or AIFF format.
• Regarding Sample rate and Bit depth, we would like the files to be in the same resolution as your recording and mix was made.

Data/Information

• Name your files like this: ”[Track number on album, eg 01]-[Full song title]-[if. ISRC Code]”
• For the DDP master, we would like to have a document with this information:
* Artist/band name,* Album title, * Complete song list, * if ISRC codes, * possibly EAN/UPC code, * Special requests regarding the number of seconds between tracks.
• Make a ZIP file of all files before uploading your material. Also name this with artist/band name and your email address.
